Atletico Madrid Want to Sign Hector Bellerin
According to a Marca, Atletico Madrid is interested in signing Hector Bellerin who is currently on the books of Arsenal.
Kieran Trippier is expected to move out of the Wanda Metropolitano this summer, with Manchester United said to be keen on securing his services.
Diego Simeone’s side, who lifted the 2020-21 La Liga crown, could be looking for a replacement if they lose the English right-back who made 28 league appearances for them last season.
The Spanish side considers Bellerin as a good fit for their needs.
The 26-year-old started his youth career at Barcelona before joining Arsenal in the summer of 2011. He rose through the youth ranks at the Gunners and earned his debut for the senior side against West Brom in September 2013.
Hector has clocked up 239 appearances across all competitions for the London side so far, scoring nine goals and creating 29 assists in the process (stats from Transfermarkt).
The Spain international has been integral to the team for several years, but his levels have dropped in the previous few seasons.
The Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is planning a squad rebuild and he could allow the right back to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer to raise funds. Best Regards to Atletico Madrid.
