The Red Devils got an ideal start as Rasmus Hojlund delivered them a breakthrough within the first minute of the game.
The 21-year-old took full advantage of Amari’i Bell’s mistake as he rounded the goalkeeper before slotting the ball home.
United kept up the pressure and soon added another one. It once again came off the feet of Hojlund who guided Alejandro Garnacho’s volley into the back of the net.

Manchester United looked to have decided the fate of the match but Luton pulled one back to stir hopes of a comeback.
Carlton Morris’ header beat Andre Onana after good work from Tahith Chong on 14 minutes.
The Hatters created more goal scoring opportunities and consistently troubled the United backline until the break.
However, the second-half mostly belonged to Manchester United who threatened to score on many occasions but the lack of finishing and Thomas Kaminski’s brilliance in goal kept the scoreline 2-1.
The best chance fell to Garnacho when he had only the goalkeeper to beat but the youngster wasted the brilliant scoring chance.
Erik ten Hag’s side ultimately held out to seal full points from the Kenilworth Road encounter, and that’s what really mattered for them.
This is United’s fourth consecutive victory in the English top-flight, with the excellent run moving them to six points behind Tottenham Hotspur.
Ten Hag looked under pressure after a series of unconvincing performances in January. But this month, his team has been impressive with their displays.
