English sides Arsenal and Aston Villa are reportedly in race with each other for the signature of Emiliano Buendia.

According to The Sun, both clubs have made £30 million-plus offer for securing the services of the 24-year-old.

However, it is said that the Argentine’s current employers Norwich City are demanding £40m to let their player leave Carrow Road.

The talented winger enjoyed a spectacular 2020-21 season for the Canaries. He earned 15 goals and 17 assists in 39 Championship appearances last campaign, helping his side to secure promotion to the Premier League.

Buendia started his professional career with Getafe where he earned his first-team debut against SD Eibar in December 2014.

He clocked up 39 appearances across all competitions for the Spanish side, scoring three goals and creating one assist in the process.

The 24-year-old joined Norwich City in the summer of 2018 on a four-year deal. Since his arrival at Carrow Road, he has made 121 appearances across all competitions for the Yellows, scoring 24 goals and creating 42 assists in the process (stats from Transfermarkt).

He is a hugely talented player who has the ability to shine for any club in the top-flight. He could a good addition for the Gunners, or Aston Villa.

Aston Villa confirmed the Five deal signed by Emiliano Buendia for a club record transfer fee 38 Million.

Good Luck Emiliano Buendia.
