According to a report from the Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur are interested to sign Aaron Ramsdale who is currently on the books of Sheffield United.
It has been reported that Spurs face competition from Wolves for the signature of the 23-year-old.
The London side are said to be preparing for life without Hugo Lloris who has about a year remaining on his current contract with the club and has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
The young goalkeeper played all 38 matches for his side in the previous Premier League campaign but failed to help them avoid relegation to the Championship.
His overall performance for the South Yorkshire side was impressive, even though he conceded 63 goals in 38 league matches.
If he manages to sign for Spurs or Wolves in the summer, then he can keep playing in the top-flight, unlike the Blades who have been dropped down into the second tier.
Ramsdale started his youth career at Bolton Wanderers before joining Sheffield United in 2013. He progressed through its youth ranks and earned his professional debut in an FA Cup match against Leyton Orient in November 2016.
Since then, he has clocked up 44 appearances across all competitions for the South Yorkshire outfit, with seven clean sheets to his name.
Best of luck Aaron Ramsdale.
