Kylian Mbappe Wants To Leave Paris Saint-Germain
According to a report from the Daily Star, football star Kylian Mbappe has asked to leave Paris Saint-Germain.
The 22-year-old’s current contract with the Ligue 1 giants is set to expire in 2022 and he reportedly doesn’t want to extend his stay in Paris.
Liverpool are said to be long-term admirers of the supremely talented forward who has been playing for PSG since 2017.
While Spanish giants Real Madrid have also been credited with an interest in the France international.
Mbappe enjoyed a brilliant 2020-21 season with Les Parisiens. He made 47 appearances across all competitions for the club, scoring an incredible 42 goals and creating 11 assists in the process (stats from Transfermarkt).
However, his goals couldn’t help them to win the Ligue 1 title as Lille pipped them to the league crown.
The 22-year-old joined the Parisians in August 2017 from Monaco, initially on loan which was later made permanent in a deal worth €180 million, thus making him one of the most expensive players of all time.
Since his arrival at Parc des Princes, the forward has clocked up 171 appearances across all competitions, netting 132 goals and creating 61 assists in the process. Best of Luck Kylian Mbappe.
