According to a report from The Telegraph, Chelsea are interested to sign Adama Traore who is currently on the books of Wolverhampton Wanderers.
It is said that the Blues boss Thomas Tuchel is keen to bolster his attacking ranks and has identified the 25-year-old as a good fit for their needs.
The talented winger joined the West Midlands side in the summer of 2018 in a deal worth £18 million from Middlesbrough.
Since his arrival at the Molineux Stadium, the Spanish footballer has clocked up 131 appearances across all competitions for the Wanderers, scoring 10 goals and creating 18 assists in the process (stats from Transfermarkt).
These figures don’t look very impressive but the player brings other things to the team as well. He is extremely fast, can easily surpass other players, and has great stamina.
The winger claimed three goals and three assists in 41 total appearances this season for Wolves, who endured a difficult campaign and finished 13th in the Premier League table.
The Wanderers could see some changes in personnel this summer, with the club having already parted company with Nuno Espirito Santo in May.
Traore could move from West Midlands in the coming transfer window and try his luck at a bigger club. Best regards for Adama Traore.
