Paris Saint-Germain Keeping Tabs on Ousmane Dembele

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested to sign Ousmane Dembele who is currently on the books of Barcelona.

According to a report from Marca, the animosity between the French giants and Barca could increase as the former is monitoring the situation of Dembele with a view to sign him on a free transfer next summer.

The Catalans recently looked set to secure the services of Georginio Wijnaldum from Liverpool but PSG entered the scene and hijacked their move for the 30-year-old midfielder.

Demebele’s current contract with the club is set to expire in 2022, and the Blaugrana are eager to tie down his future at the Camp Nou. The La Liga side reportedly plan to start negotiations with the forward next week, however the player recently conceded he was in no hurry to discuss about a new contract with European Championship coming up.

He racked up 30 La Liga appearances this season, scoring six goals and creating three assists in the process.

Ousmane joined Barcelona in the summer of 2017 from Borussia Dortmund in a deal worth up to £135.5 million.

Since his arrival at the Camp Nou, the 24-year-old has clocked up 118 appearances across all competitions for the Catalans, scoring 30 goals and creating 21 assists in the process (stats from Transfermarkt). Best of luck Ousmane Dembele.
