Leeds United and Liverpool are reportedly interested to sign Adama Traore who is currently on the books of Wolverhampton Wanderers.
According to a 90min report, the West Midlands club are open to selling the 25-year-old to raise funds for new arrivals.
It is said that Wolves are willing to offload the Spanish footballer’s teammate Ruben Neves as well in the summer transfer window.
Traore hasn’t been very impressive for the Wanderers recently. He racked up 37 appearances in the Premier League last season, scoring only two goals and creating three assists in the process (stats from Transfermarkt).
However, several big clubs are still interested to secure the Spain international’s services. The 90min report not only mentions Marcelo Bielsa’s side and Liverpool but also names Chelsea and Manchester United who are credited with an interest in the player.
Traore is a talented winger known for his pace & athleticism and could be a good addition for the Reds. There is speculation about Xherdan Shaqiri’s future at Anfield and if the Swiss footballer leaves, the 25-year-old would be a good replacement for them.
Meanwhile, Leeds United’s Pablo Hernandez has departed Elland Road, so Adama seems like a good replacement for the experienced footballer also.
Good Luck Adama Traore.
