Mauricio Pochettino could leave Paris Saint-Germain and make a return to Tottenham Hotspur.
According to a report from The Sun, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is thinking about trying to convince the 49-year-old to re-join the London club.
It has also been reported that the former Espanyol player is seriously considering making a return to the Premier League and he is said to be unhappy at Parc des Princes.
Pochettino was appointed the manager at White Hart Lane in May 2014 after he impressed with his coaching skills at Southampton.
He was highly successful during his stint at the London based side. Despite operating with a limited budget, he led his side to finish in the top four regularly. During his tenure, Spurs also reached the 2019 Champions League final, ultimately losing the important game at the hands of Liverpool.
The Argentine coach was dismissed by the club in November 2019 after a series of poor results, and he was named as the manager of PSG in January.
However, he is currently struggling to succeed in Paris as he couldn’t lead his side to the Ligue 1 title and also suffered defeat in the Champions League semi-finals to Manchester City.
Meanwhile, Tottenham appointed Jose Mourinho as their new head coach but the Portuguese failed to turn around the fortunes of the club and was sacked last month. Best of Luck Mauricio Pochettino.
